The mission of the Douglas Historical Society is to promote research and education about the history of Douglas, Arizona. To acquire, protect, and preserve property, both real and personal having historical significance and value.
As a non-profit group, membership are an important part of support to the society and Museum. Members receive a quarterly newsletter, notification of upcoming evets, and volunteer opportunities. Joining the Douglas Historical Society is an excellent way to learn more about the fascinating history of the Douglas - Agua Prieta area.
Our Society is run out of the Williams House on 10th Street and D Avenue. The Williams House was donated to the State of Arizona in 1988. Come on down to the Williams House to visit us. Once you step inside, you will feel like you are truly stepping back in time.
We are open Wednesday's and Saturday's from, 12:00–4:00 pm.
